My boyfriend's mom Pam just forwarded these amazing pencil sculpture photos to me this evening. She wrote a beautiful little intro to the images. First off, the subject of the email was "

art will fill any space, if you let it". I couldn't help but share the message and the images as both were quite inspiring this evening...
What a lovely thing to do with short, used pencils that are no longer usable for writing! I'm not sure I would have the patience or steadiness to do this type of work, but I am in awe of the little mini sculptures this artist created from the recycled lead.
